Río Grande Watershed
  Rio Grande Watershed The Río Grande (called the Río Bravo in Mexico) stretches 2,000 miles. Its watershed encompasses 141,506 square miles. The headwaters of the Río Grande are in Colorado. The Río Grande passes through New Mexico and forms the border between Texas and Mexico. See also, Watershed.
